| 2010 Tuesday, August 17, 2010 NSRC Board Meeting 7:00 p.m. Location: Kindred Hospital East Flamingo Road Las Vegas, NV September 3, 2010 Deadline for submission for NSRC logo contest Tuesday, September 21, 2010 Sputum Bowl Competition 6:00 p.m. Sunrise Hospital Las Vegas, NV Saturday, October 9, 2010 Title of Seminar: “Comprehensive Overview of the Application of the Passy-Muir® Tracheostomy and Ventilator Swallowing and Speaking Valve” Location: University of California San Diego Medical Center Times: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM Brief Summary of Seminar: This one day seminar is for all health care professionals who are involved in the management of tracheostomized and mechanically ventilated adult and pediatric patients across the continuum of care. Lectures will provide in-depth, evidence based information including patient pictures and videos. Hands-on learning activities with tracheostomy models and ventilation mannequins will give participants opportunity to apply important concepts.
